The bulk of our deer hunting property is on conservation restoration program land, (CRP). The entire property is planted in hardwoods, from red oak to white oak. These trees are about 5 years old now and and stand approx 10-12ft tall. The undergrowth is thick grass that provides the perfect cover for bedding deer.

Our CRP grounds holds huge bucks. We also have some beautiful river bottomland that is littered with white oak, honeysuckle, honey locusts, and other mast producing trees. The bottoms follow the Tensas River and are breathtaking. Many of our tree lines that surround our agricultural fields, (corn and soybean) are used as highways and bedding area for deer. They make great transition and funnel points for stands, both permanent and mobile.
